Description
SIMATIC S5 PS 951 power supply module for the S5-115U/H central controller and expansion racks, supplied without an integral backup battery (an external +3.4–9 V backup input is provided). It accepts a wide-range line input of 120/230 V AC and delivers a regulated +5 V DC ±1.5% logic-bus voltage rated 7 A without a fan and 15 A with a fan subassembly, plus auxiliary +5.2 V (2.5 A) for programmers and +24 V (0.35 A) for communication processors. It features electronic short-circuit protection and 20 ms mains buffering. One PS 951 is typically fitted in every rack of an S5 controller (for example, Racks 01–07 of the Seawater Screen Control Panel).
